Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy statement is based on the Regulation (EC) Nº 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 which covers the European Union's family of institutional Web Sites, within the eu domain and art. 13 Leg. Decree (IT), Decreto legislativo n. 196/2003 "Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali". Both policies provide the general background framework for the use of personal data by the I-MOVE website and personnel.

Information Collection
I-MOVE is committed to user privacy and the protection of personal information of the users of its website and e-correspondence.
If you visit the I-MOVE website to read or download information, only the following information that is automatically recognized is collected and stored: the date and time, the originating IP address, the domain name, the type of browser and operating system used (if provided by the browser), the URL of the referring page (if provided by the browser), the object requested and the completion status of the request. However, if you register to the I-MOVE application services, your personal information is required in order to complete your proposed fellowship request. Personnel who have access to personal information and process that information are obligated to respect the privacy and confidentiality of information according to the policy described in the Regulation mentioned above.

Use of Collected Information
Anonymous information is collected from visits to OECD websites to measure user activity on these websites. This includes analysing these logs periodically to measure the traffic through the servers, the number of pages visited and the level of demand for pages and topics of interest. The logs may be preserved indefinitely and used at any time and in any way to prevent security breaches and to ensure the integrity of the data on the servers. This information is collected through the use of various technologies, including "cookies".

Any personal information recorded when you registered for the I-MOVE service, is extracted in an anonymous format and may be analyzed to help the I-MOVE Executive Office draw statistics, trends and patterns. None of this information is reviewed at an individual level, nor associated with any other personal information.

Personal information recorded in your restricted-access personalized web page available for submitting an application to the I-MOVE fellowship programme is used for the purpose of evaluating your proposal and will only be disclosed if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose. Such personal information will not be re-used for any other purposes, nor will it be divulged for direct marketing purposes. The I-MOVE Executive Office personnel will only keep the data for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose of evaluating and further processing your proposal.
